A 3D image and full schematic of the skull anatomy of Acanthostega. Acanthostega is a significant extinct genus of stem-tetrapod, crucial for understanding the evolutionary transition from fish to early land animals. It's considered a transitional form, possessing features of both, like limbs with digits but also internal gills and a fish-like tail.

A 3D model and transparency of the desert viper. The desert horned viper, also known as the Saharan horned viper (Cerastes cerastes), is a small, venomous snake with a distinctive hornlike scale above each eye. These snakes are native to deserts and semi-deserts in Northern Africa and the Middle East. They are known for their ability to bury themselves in sand and their sidewinding locomotion.

A schematic of the skull of Asteriornis created from data collected at the CBC. Asteriornis, an early neornithine (modern bird) fossil, is significant because it provides valuable insights into the early evolution of modern birds, particularly their origins in Europe. It's considered one of the oldest known crown birds, suggesting a widespread distribution of modern birds in the Northern Hemisphere during their early evolution
